Each participant can explore a textile weaving technique similar to that used in chain mail, consisting of rings that, when interwoven, form a structure that is both flexible and strong. Participants thus create garlands in delicate shades, ranging from sea green to powder pink, using light, airy fabrics.
Finished with hand-embroidered stitches, the collective creations then adorn the central structure of the exhibition space, transforming it into a vibrant and colourful installation.
Specialising in flou and grand flou fabrics, Paloma creates designs for Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture. The fashion house has dedicated departments for textile design, pattern-making, assembly, and production. From technical details to the finished garment, the Paloma artisans are involved at every stage of the production process in order to guarantee savoir-faire and excellence.
