During the exhibition Mains d'avenir, la Galerie du 19M is running a free collaborative workshop where visitors are invited to learn the basics of textile creation with Maison Paloma.

Plan your visit

  • Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m

  • 30-minute slots

  • From the age of 4

  • Free (booking required)

Workshop tickets include access to the Mains d’avenir exhibition.

Each participant can explore a textile weaving technique similar to that used in chain mail, consisting of rings that, when interwoven, form a structure that is both flexible and strong. Participants thus create garlands in delicate shades, ranging from sea green to powder pink, using light, airy fabrics.

Finished with hand-embroidered stitches, the collective creations then adorn the central structure of the exhibition space, transforming it into a vibrant and colourful installation.
