A specialist in flou and grand flou draping since 1982, Paloma carries out ambitious projects for both Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture. The Maison d’art has several dedicated departments of excellence: the development workshop (pattern making), the design office, the assembly workshop, and the textile design workshop. From technical details to the complete construction of a garment, its artisans are involved at every stage of the production process, guaranteeing expertise and excellence.

The savoir-faire of Paloma

The artisans at Maison Paloma work closely together to devise bespoke solutions for creative requests or to craft garments in their entirety—a unique and versatile approach for a Métier d’art. Within the various workshops, silk, organza, gauze, and fine crêpe are transformed into something exquisite. An embroidered top with a ladder-stitch insertion, an openwork pattern, a smocked skirt, a muslin dress with an impeccable drape—each design is carefully considered to best showcase the Maison’s historic expertise.

Founded in 1982 by Monsieur and Madame Lopez and renowned for its expertise and versatile approach—from finishing touches to the complete construction of a garment—Paloma has collaborated with leading Ready-to-Wear and Haute Couture houses since its inception. In the early 1990s, Paloma specialised in working with flou and grand flou fabrics—these fine, supple, and unstructured materials whose drape is the result of complex and unique craftsmanship. Very quickly, close ties were forged with the big names in fashion, including CHANEL from 1983 onwards, following the arrival of Karl Lagerfeld.

In 2011, Paloma joined CHANEL’s Métiers d’art ecosystem.
Since 2021, Paloma has been a resident at le19M.
