An immersion in the heart of savoir-faire: Atelier Montex and Studio MTX

The tour begins with a special visit of the workshops at Atelier Montex and Studio MTX, two resident Maisons d’art at le19M that are pushing the boundaries of embroidery.

Founded in 1949, Atelier Montex stands out for its resolutely contemporary approach to embroidery. Whether using Lunéville crochet, hand-stitching, or the Cornely machine, the artisans bring creations to life in which beads, sequins, and unexpected materials interact with traditional techniques.

Established in 2013 within Atelier Montex, Studio MTX brings embroidery into the realm of interior design. The studio designs monumental works and bespoke creations that are installed in space, transforming embroidery into a true architectural language.
