A talented pastry chef, Monichéra Oum stepped into the world of food after a career in communications.

This successful move enabled her to hone her skills under the guidance of renowned professionals, and she will soon be opening her own food shop in Pantin.

For la Galerie du 19M, the Cambodian-born chef offers a culinary journey through the flavours of her childhood and invites the public to discover banh déo or moon cake. This Vietnamese pastry made from glutinous rice is popular throughout South-East Asia.
