A place for everyone

The GrandPalaisRmn is a cultural institution whose ambition is to bring art and culture closer to everyone, both in France and beyond. To this end, it draws on a wealth of technical, commercial, and artisanal expertise. The Grand Palais is the institution’semblem.

Since the Olympic and Paralympic Games in summer 2024, events have been held in the Grand Palais, starting with CHANEL’s fashion shows. Restoration work has continued concurrently in order to open the entire Grand Palais in spring 2025 . The site present a programme of events that is rich and festive, challenging and inclusive.

CHANEL, the longstanding exclusive patron of the Grand Palais since 2018, is renewing its commitment to theGrandPalaisRmn for a further five years as patron of the artistic and cultural programme of the Grand Palais through the GrandPalaisRmn endowment fund.

CHANEL thus becomes a Major Patron of the Grand Palais.

le19M and Le Grand Palais

For the reopening of the Grand Palais in Paris in June 2025, following a major restoration project supported by CHANEL, its longstanding and exclusive patron, le19M, CHANEL’s centre dedicated to the Métiers d’art, is collaborating with the emblematic monument to unveil a large-scale work of art.

An extraordinary ornamental curtain, designed as a symbolic interface between the Nave and the central square of the building. This spectacular piece, measuring 8 metres high and 15 metres wide, will unfurl in front of the central Venetian window, punctuating the interior perspective of the monument.

A veritable laboratory of excellence in fashion and decoration, le19M has brought together the expertise of all its resident Maisons d’art—Atelier Montex, Lesage, Goossens, Lemarié and Atelier Lognon, Massaro, Maison Michel, Paloma, and Studio MTX—to create this collective piece.
