A look back at the third edition of « Mains d’avenir », the 19M Arts and Crafts Days
Following the success of the first two editions in Paris and Marseille in 2024, le19M hosted the third edition of “Mains d’avenir” last weekend – its exhibition dedicated to showcasing the craft trades of fashion and interior design – at the Galerie du 19M.
Over the course of these three days, more than 2,600 visitors had the chance to take part in this exceptional event, including nearly 900 school pupils who came to discover the careers at 19M and the training programmes that lead to them! Visitors were also able to try their hand at traditional craftsmanship techniques during workshops and attend round-table discussions organised with the editorial team of Le Monde, featuring numerous speakers including Bruno Pavlovsky, President of Fashion Activities at CHANEL and of the 19M.
A training and careers guidance area enabled students and those undergoing retraining to engage with human resources teams from the 19M, the Paris Regional Education Authority, the Paris GRETA network and the Savoir pour Faire platform, which promotes the unique skills of the French fashion and luxury sector.
