In a world where technology is becoming increasingly prevalent in the field of contemporary creation, the podcast les Lignes de la main invites us to slow down, observe, and listen to the hand. The hand that creates, shapes, and passes on.

The hand of artisans, artists, and designers who maintain a connection to the physical act and the material world in their work.

In the first episode of this new series, we follow the lines of the hand of Nathalie Abscheidt, a workshop manager and model maker at Goossens for over thirty years. From her early days in jewellery to her central role at the goldsmith’s workshop at le19M, she recounts her journey in the Métiers d’art, her close connection to materials, and her work for the world’s leading fashion houses.

A valuable insight into the heart of a rare savoir-faire, in which every gesture carries the memory of a demanding art form, passed down from generation to generation.

Directed and produced by Géraldine Sarratia and Guillaume Girault, this podcast explores creativity in its human dimension through a series of insightful conversations centred on the hand as a conduit for emotions, intuition, and the passing on of knowledge.
