l'Été Ornementa 

Following the success of the "Ornementa" workshop, le19M is extending the experience and reimagining it with a summer twist, for a new season dedicated to creativity and sharing.

From 27 June to 20 July 2025, la Galerie du 19M and la Parcelle are becoming a life-size playground featuring installations, collaborative creations, and festive events—all free of charge, open to the public, and accessible to all. 

l’Été Ornementa remains true to the spirit of the original project—introducing people to techniques, materials, and savoir-faire through workshops and the perspective of guest creators—while embracing endless new forms of freer, more joyful play.

Through an enriched summer programme, artists Antoinette Love, Amine Habki, Clémentine Pellegrin, Clémentine Sourdais, Delphine Dénéréaz, Hugo Béhérégaray, Jeanne Tresvaux du Fraval, Lola Favre, Mariana Ladreyt, Accalmie, and Pablo Grand Mourcel are taking over la Galerie du 19M. 

Throughout July, visitors will be able to: 

• Contribute to a collaborative mural inspired by the Maisons d’art of le19M; 

• Cut, weave, assemble, plait, or model in a range of hands-on workshops: a postcard-making workshop, a giant passementerie parasol, woven maze, yarn mural, and summer charm workshop; 

• Play and learn with le19M’s beach games, vinyl record selection, and summer library for children; 

• Try your hand at freehand embroidery while listening to podcasts every Saturday;  

• Listen to live music from Accalmie every Sunday; 

• Celebrate collective creativity during the opening weekend on 28–29 June and the closing weekend on 19–20 July.

These installations, activities, and workshops are free and do not require booking, giving everyone the freedom to explore at their own pace.
