Working alongside the embroidery artist Zélia Moussy, Théophile Peris invites children to explore new forms of expression and imagination by embellishing their unique creations with an embroidered pastoral motif.

The children will able to take their felt hats home with them.

Théophile Péris

Born in 1997 in Agen, Théophile Peris lives and works in Marseille. He is a graduate of EESI Poitiers. His artistic practice centres on traditional production methods, using materials found in nature or in his immediate surroundings: water, earth, wood, stone, and bone, as well as salvaged objects to which he gives a new identity. In recent years, wool from sheep shearing has become a central material in his work, structured around the various stages of its transformation.

Zélia Moussy

Zélia Moussy, born in 1997, lives and works in Marseille. She graduated from the Villa Arson art centre in 2021. Blankets and quilts occupy a central place in her practice. Her knitted and quilted woollen textiles form part of a dialogue between practical use and the imagination, creating spaces for haptic reflection. These spaces then act as mediators of our interactions with our surroundings. Her work has been exhibited at 6B (Saint-Denis), the Villa Arson (Nice), and Le Ravitaillement (Gavray-sur-Sienne) in 2025. She is part of the 2026 cohort of the Passerelles de Contemporaines programme.
