In the third and final part of this series devoted to the history of Lesage, discover how, over thirty years ago, the House opened up to the decorative arts and furniture by creating the Lesage Intérieurs department in Paris and the Vastrakala workshop in Chennai, India. This journey through time also stops in 2011, the landmark year of the handover from François Lesage to Hubert Barrère, Lesage’s current artistic director. Finally, this episode reveals how Lesage is constantly exploring new creative horizons, notably through collaborations with contemporary artists, to reinvent embroidery and look forward to the next 100 years of creativity and excellence.
