Slow-ferment pizzas and French cuisine with Japanese touches. Seasonal vegetables lead the way, and the menu follows and changes according to produce arrivals.
The Tokyo-style Margherita remains the same: pinched dough, fior di latte, shiso leaves, toasted sesame oil. Three schools of pizza—Naples, New York, Tokyo—in the same gesture.
Starters and desserts from 6 to 10 €
Main courses from 15 to 25 €
Open for lunch from Wednesday to Friday, 12 to 2.30 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, service continues until 4 p.m.
In the Galerie, the Beyond Our Horizons exhibition brings together French and Japanese savoir-faire. That dialogue continues at the Café du 19M: pots of Japanese green tea—sencha, genmaicha, hojicha—bowls of matcha, choco-miso cookies, speciality coffees, kombucha, lemonades, daily pastry specials. All made in-house.
Open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
On Saturday and Sunday, the format changes: izakaya-style small plates, XL pizzas, natural wines, Kirin beer, sake by the glass.Gallery visitors, groups of friends, local residents, families: the Café lives to the rhythm of the place. And Parisians.
Between Paris and Aubervilliers, amidst Rudy Ricciotti's architectural creation, le Café du 19M provides a local eatery at lunchtime and a coffee shop all day long.
Since September, a new energy has taken hold in the kitchen with the arrival of chef Victor Legrand, a master of long-fermented artisanal pizza dough and an expert at sourcing exceptional produce.
le Café du 19M is designed and managed by Grand Cuisine, an agency specialising in avant-garde food events. From the outset, Patricia Meunier and Mat Gallet have been at the helm of the project, overseeing the selection of chefs, management, menus, sourcing, and operations.
Currently in the kitchen: Victor Legrand (Vico’s Dough) and Mathieu Canet!
