From 29 January to 26 April 2026, the exhibition Beyond our Horizons: from Tokyo to Paris is on view at la Galerie du 19M in Paris/Aubervilliers.

To mark the occasion, la Galerie du 19M is providing guided tours led by mediators, free of charge for school groups, extracurricular groups, and higher education institutions.

After visiting the exhibition, the experience continues with the discovery of a 19M Métiers d’art kit.

Guided tour and collaborative workshop

Alongside the exhibition Beyond our Horizons: from Tokyo to Paris, la Galerie du 19M is hosting a collaborative workshop in which members of the public are invited to embroider their own tanzaku—small strips of washi paper on which to write a wish—devised in collaboration with the embroidery house Atelier Montex and Sébastien Desplat.

This free workshop is held every Wednesday and Thursday for schools and students, between 2.30 and 5 p.m., for a maximum of 12 participants, in 30-minute sessions.

A creative and enriching experience for children aged 8 and up.

This offer also includes the presentation of a 19M Métiers d’art kit.

Discovering the materials and tools of the Maisons d’art

the Métiers d’art kits

The 19M Métiers d’art kits invite groups of interested visitors to enjoy a fun and immersive experience of the Métiers d’art, where everyone actively participates in their experience of discovery.

Designed in collaboration with le19M’s resident Maisons d’art, they enable everyone to discover the exceptional savoir-faire behind each craft creation, using tools, samples, and didactic step-by-step instructions.
