la Parcelle
Making kisetsu, seasonal seed bombs
At the heart of la Parcelle, you’ll find a flower farm, a greenhouse, a vegetable garden, a children’s play area, and creative and educational workshops designed for families and school groups.
la Parcelle is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., with activities and spaces suitable for families and young children.
Throughout the 2026 season, the Vergers Urbains association is running a series of creative and educational workshops at la Parcelle focusing on the natural world, aimed at families with children aged 5 and up.
Until the end of April, la Parcelle’s workshop programme will feature Japanese influences, in keeping with the exhibition Beyond our Horizons: from Tokyo to Paris on show at la Galerie du 19M.
Parents and children are invited to explore this world through three workshops inspired by Japanese craftsmanship: kokedama, tataki zome, and kisetsu.
Every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2 to 3.30 p.m.
la Parcelle is a cultural garden, a place to take your time where, on the weekend, visitors of all ages, families, and residents from the surrounding neighbourhoods are invited to take their time, stroll, and come together.
la Maison des Petits at CENTQUATRE-PARIS is extending its opening hours at la Parcelle and is now open to parents and children free of charge every Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m., in a welcoming space.
Two facilitators offer children, from birth to the age of 5, accompanied by their parents, a free, anonymous drop-in session with no registration required. An opportunity to play, draw, read, and explore creative expression together.
Budding adventurers can explore every corner of the play area, shoot down the slide, climb, and let their imaginations run wild in the wooden huts in la Parcelle’s play area.
The playground is open free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays during la Parcelle’s opening hours.
Designed as a small garden for exploration, la Parcelle can be explored freely or by following a playful trail. Along the way, a treasure hunt and educational signage invite visitors of all ages to observe the natural world so as to better understand it and learn through play.
At la Parcelle, all the plants have been carefully selected by the Vergers Urbains association, with particular attention paid to the diversity and harmony of the different species. The vegetable garden is used to grow vegetables, fruit, and herbs. Finally, the flower farm is both a space to stroll through and a source of inspiration.
In line with le19M’s mission, la Parcelle is a space for making, showcasing a multidisciplinary programme organised in collaboration with CENTQUATRE-PARIS and Vergers Urbains. Under the collective impetus of these local cultural organisations, this space for exchange and sharing serves is designed for exploration and artistic expression with an educational focus.
As the closest neighbour to le19M and la Parcelle, Veolia is committed to providing the urban garden with environmentally friendly and biodiversity-friendly solutions on a pro bono basis.
