In this introductory knitting workshop, young participants are invited to create a textile surface in the shape of a football, using end-of-stock materials collected by La Réserve des Arts.

By cutting out the shapes and assembling them using rings, they will be able to imagine an infinite number of combinations for a mosaic of textures and colours.

Participants will take their work home with them.

Mathilde Gullaud

The designer and exhibition scenographer Mathilde Gullaud is constantly exploring materials, navigating between reality and fiction. Her creative approach consists of discovering and developing new textures, exploring and creating collisions to create unique experiences. The object, space, and spectator are the three essential pillars of her projects, building her creations from an imaginary rooted in an augmented reality, in its colours, textures, and tangibility. Mathilde plays the role of a material illusionist, shifting the boundaries between body, space, and object. Whether through immersive decors or sculptural elements, the designer encourages visitors to activate her pieces by playing with movement and revolution. Each scenario she devises is connected with an emotion, an escape, inviting the public to immerse themselves in her singular and surprising universe.
