On a square of fabric, participants will embroider supplies from Bolivian carnival costumes to create a protective figure in the shape of their choice. Each amulet can be embroidered and embellished with decorative elements from the inventory of the Maisons d’art du 19M, such as beads or rhinestones.
This workshop echoes Kenia’s recent works: embroidered panels of Bolivian carnival costumes, through which she continues her exploration of myths and legends.
Participants will take their embroidered amulet home with them.
