For the third consecutive year, le19M took part in the European Heritage Days.

This was an exceptional opportunity for the general public to discover the building designed by Rudy Ricciotti and the workshops of Maison Michel, the Parisian hat-maker founded in 1936.

Architectural tour of le19M

Designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti, the 19M building stands out for its monumental fibre-reinforced concrete facade, which resembles a giant weave.

Open to the city and bathed in light, it symbolises both the strength and sensitivity of the Métiers d'art, embodying the vocation of le19M: to preserve a living heritage, promote transmission, and build bridges between craftsmanship and contemporary society.

The tour began with a special opening of the workshops of Maison Michel, the Parisian milliner founded in 1936.

As a resident Maison d'art at le19M, Maison Michel is the custodian of rare craftsmanship and renowned fashion expertise. A supplier to the biggest Prêt-à-Porter and Haute Couture fashion houses, Maison Michel has more than 3,000 moulds—a living heritage and an inexhaustible source of creativity.

Tour of the exhibition Trouver son monde

The tour continued at la Galerie du 19M with the exhibition Trouver son monde. Bringing together 17 young creators, it explores the theme of transmission through a variety of works—textiles, embroidery, video, photography, and installation—in dialogue with the Maisons d'art of le19M.

The exhibition is open until 14 December 2025.

LES GENS DU CERCLE at la Parcelle

The tour ended in the Cabane de la Parcelle with an exhibition by the Art & Image section of the École Kourtrajmé.

As part of their training, the students were able to immerse themselves in le19M's workshops throughout the year to inspire their artistic vision and practice.

le19M has been a partner of the École Kourtrajmé for five years.
